George Robert Long

George Robert Long III was born in Dallas, Texas on May 1, 1992 to George "Bob" and Sharon Benson Long. George passed away in Crandall, Texas on December 13, 2011. George was raised in Crandall and graduated from Crandall High School in 2011as valedictorian. He loved athletics and participated in football, baseball and basketball at Crandall High School. George was a freshman at Texas A & M University in College Station. He was also a member of the Central Baptist Church in Crandall. His grandfathers George Robert Long and Hulen DeWitt Benson preceded him in death. George is survived by his parents: George "Bob" Robert and Sharon Long of Crandall, brother: Matthew Ryan Long of Crandall, grandmothers: Dorothy Long of Kaufman and Nell Callaway of Mount Pleasant, Honorary Grandmother: Inez Davis, Aunts and Uncles: Linda and John Taylor of Kaufman, Cindy and Kurt Malone of Southlake, Joyce and David Brown of Marshall, Uncles and Aunts: Franklin and Brenda Benson of Centerridge, Arkansas, Billy and Debbie Benson of Morriliton, Arkansas and Danny Benson of Mount Pleasant and many other relatives and friends.
