Frank Thompson

Frank Thompson was born in Grays Prairie on December 2, 1945 to Floyd and Lois Tidwell Thompson. Frank passed away in VA Hospital in Dallas on June 15, 2011. Frank was raised in the Scurry and Rosser area. He joined the U. S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam. After the service Frank moved to Dallas where he lived for twelve years. He moved to Gastonia in 1984 and later moved to Seagoville. Frank worked for Murr Bross Electric in Dallas for twenty-five years. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Seagoville. On December 8, 1972 Frank married Bonnie Fay Perdue in Dallas. He is survived by his wife: Bonnie of Seagoville, son: Kelly Thompson of Seagoville, daughter: Kristin Thompson of Seagoville, son by previous marriage: Michael Henry of Seattle, Washington, stepson: Russell Thompson of Italy, two stepdaughters, brother: James Thompson of Melissa, sisters: Mary Mauser of Mesquite and Evelene Whiddon of Rockwall, grandchildren: Tyler Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Alyssa Starnes and Kaelee Starnes and nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
