Joye Couch Moore

Joye Couch Moore was born July 26, 1933 in Kaufman to William Pinkney Couch and Stella Jane Lee. Joye passed away in Mesquite on October 10, 2010. Joye was raised in Kaufman and lived most of her life in Kaufman. She graduated from Kaufman High School in 1950. Joye worked for Kaufman County Health and Human Services for over twenty years. She was a member of the Kaufman Church of Christ. Joye married Edwin Wallace Moore in Kaufman on June 2, 1953. Her parents and her aunt Merle Lee that raised her after her mother's death preceded her in death. Joye is survived by her husband Edwin of Kaufman, daughters: Annette Yudizky and her husband Mike of Forney and Melanie Miller and her husband Danny of Forney, grandchildren: Marty, Bradley, Kyle, Haley, Leah and Will, great-grandchildren: Hannah, Grant, Abby, Layne and Shea, brother: Howell Lee Couch of Kaufman, sister: Dorothy Walker of Kaufman and many other relatives and friends.
