Allen Abbott

ALLEN "SONNY" ABBOTT Allen "Sonny" Abbott was born in San Antonio, Texas at Fort Sam Houston Hospital on August 7, 1936 to Jack and Estelle Cole Abbott. Sonny was raised in Dallas. For eight years he was a mechanic in the National Guard. Sonny started working for Sherman Williams Paint Company in Garland in 1958 and retired from there in 2002. On January 28, 1986 Sonny married Joyce Cook in Rockwall, Texas. His parents and a daughter Debra Lynn Brown preceded him in death in 2008. Sonny is survived by his wife: Joyce Abbott of Kaufman, son: Duane Abbott of Balch Springs, daughter: Diana Abbott of Frisco, sister: LaJuanda Rowden of Dallas, granddaughter: Melissa Abbott, great-grandchildren: Haley, Felicity, Austin and Carmon and many other relatives and friends. No services are scheduled.
