Ehtel Virginia Mathis

ETHEL VIRGINIA MATHIS Ethel Virginia Mathis was born in Ennis, Texas on September 27, 1918 to Louie and Ethel Bryant Patterson. Virginia passed away in Kaufman, Texas on May 23, 2009. Virginia was raised in Ennis and later moved to Pleasant Grove in 1940. She moved to Malakoff in 1963 and moved to Kaufman in 1995. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Malakoff. She married Carl Mathis in 1962 in Beaumont, Texas. Her husband Carl preceded her in death and also a son James Lynn Dandridge. Virginia is survived by her daughter: Janice Collins and her husband Bill of Kaufman, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, brother: James Patterson of Athens, sisters: Annette Wilson of Canton and Frances Comacho of California and many other relatives and friends.
