Kenneth Wayne Pruitt

Kenneth Wayne Pruitt was born in Bastrop, Louisiana on August 3, 1954 to James Pruitt and Dovie Mae Weaver. Ken passed away at his home in Kaufman on January 28, 2010. Ken was raised in Bastrop, Louisiana and later moved to Illinois for seven years before moving back to Bastrop. He moved to Houston later where he was an offshore welder for his lifetime career. Ken moved to Kaufman where he lived for many years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Kaufman. Ken is survived by his daughters: Kristy Pruitt of Marlin, Misty Pruitt of Marlin, Kourtney Pruitt of Forney, Kayla Pruitt of Forney and Kadie Pruitt of Forney, stepsons: Chuck Pruitt of Henderson, Richard McCormies of Mesquite and Chad McCormies of Oklahoma, stepdaughter: Melody McCormies of Forney, sister: Melba Edwardsen of Mesquite, grandsons: Dylan, Ketyn, Konner and Jordyn, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
