Jesse Eugene Cooper

Jesse Eugene Cooper was born in Richardson, Texas on November 12, 1928 to Jessie and Juanita Morgan Cooper. Gene was raised in Dallas and graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas. He began working for his father as a truck driver and in 1964 started working for the Dallas Police Department and retired in 1985. Gene was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Crandall, the Texas Pigeon Association of Texas, American Quarter Horse Association and American Paint Horse Association. Gene married Gwen Yalch on June 3, 1950 in Irving. He is survived by his wife: Gwen of Combine, son: Gary Cooper and his wife Becky of Combine, daughters: Sheri Smith and her husband Butch of Combine and Rhonda Upton and her husband Chuck of Rockwall, grandchildren: Toby Smith, Cody Cooper and his wife Michelle, Holly Woodlee and her husband Beau, Cory Smith and his wife Kristen, Misti Svoboda and her husband Matt, Cole Upton and Lauren Henderson, great-grandchildren: Jody Smith, Josie Smith, Luke Woodlee and Eli Woodlee.
