Ronald Gale Waisath

Ron G. Waisath was born in Saint Louis, Illinois on July 1, 1941 to Wilfred and Thelma Wood Waisath. Ron passed away at his home in Canton, TX on November 1, 2009. Ron was raised in East Saint Louis then moved to Port LaVaca, TX in 1959. He joined the U. S. Army and after serving in the army moved to Pointe Comfort, TX. Ron lived a short time in Harvey, LA and then moved to Houston. In 1969 Ron opened a Mobil Gas Station and wrecker service in Dallas. Later he moved to Tyler, TX and to Beaumont before moving to Canton, TX in 2009. Ron was a member of the Voth Baptist Church in Beaumont and a member of the Kemp Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. On December 27, 1963 Ron married Vickie Brennan in Dallas, Texas. Ron is survived by his wife: Vickie of Canton, sons: Tyson Waisath and his wife Rhonda and Jeffrey Waisath all of Canton, daughters: Laura Milton and her husband Randy of Lufkin and Jennifer White and her husband David of Lumberton, brother: Jim Waisath and his wife Linda of Waxahachie, sister: Dorothy Rochelle and her husband John of Waco, brother-in-law: Les Brennan of Fort Worth, grandchildren: Mindi, Mandi, Justin, Jason, Michelle, Alison, Meagan, Jessika, Rebecca, Ethan and Joshua David Gale. In lieu of Flowers the family has requested memorials be to the Ron Waisath Memorial Fund at Guaranty Bank,2219 S. WEashington St., P.O. Box 69, Kaufman, Texas 75142, 972-932-2109
