Brenda Kay Rutherford-Ellis

Brenda Kay Rutherford-Ellis was born in Greenville, Texas on November 7, 1948 to Sherman and Estaleen Currin Millsap. Brenda Kay passed away in a Kaufman, Texas hospital on August 29, 2009. She was raised in Wolfe City and graduated from East Texas State University. Brenda Kay was a teacher for the Dallas Independent School District for several years before opening several group homes for the mentally disabled in Dallas and Garland. Brenda Kay married Bill Ellis in Waxahachie on May 22, 2004. Brenda Kay was preceded in death by her father and she is survived by her husband: Bill Ellis of Kaufman, daughter: Laurel A. Rutherford of Kaufman, mother: Estaleen Millsap of Rowlett, brother: Harold Millsap of Greenville, sister: Sue Foster of Wills Point, grandchildren: Maddison Rutherford, Katherine Rutherford and Jacob Wilhelms and many other relatives and friends.
