Carol Ann Ruff

Carol Ann Ruff of Kaufman passed away in Kaufman on September 1, 2011. Carol was born in Terrell, Texas on September 13, 1940 to Carroll and Janet Norton Wallace. Carol was raised in Kaufman and graduated from Kaufman High School in 1959. She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce in 1978. Carol taught third grade from 1979 to 2010 for Kaufman Independent School District. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Kaufman. Carol married James Carl Ruff in Kaufman on February 23, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2003. Carol is survived by her son: Todd Ruff and his wife Karla of Kaufman, daughter: Leslie McGlamery and her husband Chris of Kaufman, mother: Janet Wallace of Kaufman, sister: Lana Jo Summers of San Antonio, grandchildren: Kaylee Ruff, Carter Ruff, Macy McGlamery and Parker McGlamery and many other relatives and friends.
