Michael Dan Ferguson

MIKE D. "FERGIE" FERGUSON Mike D. Ferguson was born in Joplin, Missouri on January 8, 1916 to William and Jessie Deaver Ferguson. Mike passed away at his home in Terrell on February 10, 2009. Mike was raised all over the United States and then moved to Texas in 1947. He moved to Terrell in 1971 where he operated the Terrell Municipal Airport for many years. Mike owned and operated a flight school at the Terrell Airport and retired in 1990. He also owned and operated Mike's Flying Service and Charter Service in Terrell. Mike logged more than 50,000 hours of flying and teaching. He taught hundreds of local and out of town flying students that went on to receive their pilot's license. On December 21, 1954 Mike married Annie Jones in Dallas, Texas. Mike is survived by his wife: Annie of Terrell, sister: Shirley Brady of Bryan, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be to the "Angel Flight Network".
