Jimmy Cullen Tinsley

Jimmy Cullen Tinsley was born in Kaufman, Texas on April 24, 1943 to Wesley Keller Tinsley and Edith Marie Grubbs. Jimmy passed away in Greenville, Texas on April 30, 2010. Jimmy graduated from Kaufman High School in 1961 and from Texas A & M Commerce in 1966. He began working for LTV in Greenville and served in the Texas National Guard. Jimmy had a passion for country music, Texas history and genealogy. He was also a breeder of Hereford cattle. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Sybil Tidwell and special friend Martha Lloyd. Jimmy is survived by his son: Jay Tinsley of Pearland, TX, daughter: Mary Ellen Tinsley-Myers of Plano, brother: Bob Tinsley of Kaufman, TX, grandchildren: Sam and Owen Myers, friends: Ralph, Janice and Ray Stroop and Juanita Tidwell and many other friends and relatives.
