M. Carroll Wallace

CARROLL WALLACE Carroll Wallace was born in McKinney, Texas on September 26, 1916 to Jessie and Lottie Griser Wallace. Carroll passed away in Kaufman, Texas on April 9, 2009. Carroll was raised in Canton and then moved to Kaufman when he was a junior in high school. He graduated from Kaufman High School. Carroll served in the Texas National Guard for four years and retired from the City of Dallas after twenty years. He was a past member and chief of the Kaufman Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Grace Christian Church in Kaufman. Carroll was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Wallace. On November 25, 1939 Carroll married Janet Norton in Terrell. He is survived by his wife Janet of Kaufman, daughters: Carol Ann Ruff of Kaufman and Lana Jo Summers and her husband Toby of San Antonio, brother: Gerald L. Wallace of Hamilton, Virginia, grandchildren: Todd Ruff, Leslie McGlamery, Benjamin Summers and Zachary Summers, great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Carter, Macy and Parker and many other relatives and friends.
