Mae Perkins Harter

Mae Eleanor Harter was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 9, 1925 to Thomas and Lou Ellen Brown Perkins. Mae passed away in a Richardson, TX hospital on January 8, 2012. Mae was raised in Millington, Tenn. And moved to Texas when she was eighteen. She moved to the Kaufman area in 1981 and worked for Mary Kay Cosmetics for ten years. Mae was a member of the Kaufman Church of Christ. She married Clyde Claude Harter Jr. in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Mae is survived by her family and closest friends: Michael Harter, Carolyn Almstedt, Lauren Almstedt, Eddie Perkins, Michael Perkins, Donna Martin, Lorena Phillips, Mark Phillips and Mike Phillips and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
