Juanita Beatrice Cates

JUANITA BEATRICE CATES Juanita Beatrice Cates of Kaufman passed away in Terrell, Texas on April 1, 2012. Juanita was born in Dallas, Texas on July 21, 1920 to Claude Britton Lewis and Hattie Turner Lewis. Juanita was raised in Dallas and Kaufman County. She lived in Peeltown and Warsaw before moving to Kaufman in 1963. Juanita married Woodrow Cates in Palacious, Texas on July 12, 1942. Woodrow preceded Juanita in death on March 31, 2002. Juanita is survived by her sons: Claude Cates of Kaufman and Sammy Cates of Terrell, brother: Jerry Lewis of Van, grandchildren: Jamie Lynn Cates, Samuel Britton Cates, Clint Hurst and Cara Howle, special grandchildren: Amanda Brown, Brandy Brown and Ashley Hatchel,and many other relatives and friends.
