Edward Murry (Bill) Holt was born in Quincy, Mississippi on March 12, 1932 to Lawrence and Rena Easter Holt. Edward passed away in a Kaufman TX hospital on October 13, 2011. After his graduation from Greenwood Springs High School, Edward moved to Dallas, where he was employed by Chance-Vought Aircraft Industries. Edward worked as a sheet metal mechanic building many models of military airplanes for the U. S. Navy. He retired in December 1992 after forty-one years of service. Edward was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ, having been baptized in 1960 by Jack Howard, minister. On August 3, 1963 Edward married Mary Frances Sharp. To this union two sons, James Edward Holt and John Alan Holt, were born. Edward has a granddaughter Evelyn Loren Holt. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sisters. Edward is survived by his wife, two sons, one granddaughter and three sisters and several nephews and nieces.
