Married to Juanita Irene French on January 11, 1958. Preceded in death by his parents Samuel Steve McMahan and Gertie Florence McMahan. Siblings Elberta Bowman and Johnny McMahan. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Juanita McMahan of Scurry, Tx; Children: Vickie and Derril Swinford, of Forney, Tx; Rhonda and Steve Corder, of Scurry, Tx; Steve and Krista McMahan of Scurry, TX; adopted daughter Paula and Richard Dunn of Kemp, TX; Grandchildren: Jessica and Shane McCormic, Traeh Whittington, Karianne Swinford; Samuel and Heather Corder, Sheryl and John Copeland; Justin Busick, Colby McMahan, Kailey Martin, Kyndal McMahan; Brent and Jenny Dunn, Amanda and Dustin Roberts, Taylor Dunn.
