Olen Gene Dean

Olen Gene Dean was born in Mabank, Texas on August 11, 1931 to Oliver and Eula Morrison Dean. Olen passed away in an Ennis, Texas hospital on January 29, 2012. Olen was raised in Mabank and then entered the U. S. Army. After, he served in the army Olen married Prudie Mayfield on December 10, 1955 in Mabank. After he married Olen lived in the Cedarvale Community area most of his life and then moved to Waxahachie in 2006. Olen worked for Gifford-Hill for over forty years. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Slama and her husband Ricki of Ennis, granddaughter: Laura Sims of Ennis, great-grandchildren: Alexis Sims and Brianna Sims, nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
