Wanda Ann Helsley was born in Gorman, Texas on November 15, 1939 to Herman and Winnie Horn Dunlap. Wanda passed away at her home near Mabank, Texas on December 18, 2009. She was raised in Cisco and Eastland and attended high school at Waxahachie Southwestern. Wanda Tweety" was in the prison ministry for over twenty-five years and was in the Motorcycle Ministry for seventeen years where she was the leader and minister of Texas Praise. On July 31, 1992 Wanda married Ted Mel Helsley in Fort Worth, Texas. Then later moved to the Mabank area in 1993. Her parents and a sister Patsy Ree Dunlap preceded Wanda in death. Wanda "Tweety" is survived by her husband: Ted of Mabank, son: Rance Peevy of Kaufman, daughter: Carla Martin of Kilgore, stepsons: Ted Helsley of Mountain Air, New Mexico and Chris Helsley of Fort Worth, stepdaughter: Tonya Helsley of Arlington, brother: Herman Dunlap of Brownwood, sister-in-law: Sheila Dunlap of Brownwood, grandchildren: Courtney Black, Morgan Black, Sunny Martin and Kimmie Williamson, great-grandchildren: Paige Black, Michelle Tanner and Avery Williamson and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be to the Wanda Helsley Memorial Fund C/O the First Assembly of God Church in Kaufman, Texas. "
