Lorene Pearl Rand

Lorene Pearl Rand was born in the Poetry Community on July 12, 1918 to Johnny and Sally Shumpert Edwards. Lorene passed away in Kaufman on November 6, 2011. She was raised in Ola and after she married she moved to the Rand Community where she lived the rest of her life. On November 22, 1936 Lorene married John Edd Rand in Grand Saline. She was preceded in death her husband John Edd on December 14, 2006 and by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Lorene is survived by her sons: James E. Rand of Rand, Freddy Rand of Rand, David Rand of Kemp and Danny Rand of Rand, daughter: Eydie Huddleston of Rand, brother: Herman Edwards of Trophy Club, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
