William Reese Platt

William Reese Platt was born in Crandall on July 4, 1930 to Albert and Winnie Fears Platt. William Reese passed away in Kaufman on June 17, 2009. William Reese was raised in Kemp and graduated from Kemp High School. He served four years in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War in Hawaii. William Reese moved to Combine in 1971. He worked for General Electric in Dallas for thirty years retiring in 1984. William Reese was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Seagoville and the First Presbyterian Church in Kaufman. On January 4, 1958 William Reese married Tancy Dean in Dallas. William Reese is survived by his wife Tancy of Combine, daughters: Kim Platt of Kemp and Kris Villarreal and her husband Joe of Combine, sister: Jeannie Williams of Kemp and a grandson: Reese ?Cowboy? Villarreal and many other relatives and friends.
