Franklin Hunter Sistrunk

Franklin Hunter Sistrunk was born in Sebastpol, Mississippi on July 15, 1936 to Grady and Pearl Perkins Sistrunk. Frank passed away in Kaufman County, Texas on June 24, 2011. Frank was raised in Sebastopol, Mississippi and then served in the U. S. Air Force for four years and served during the Korean War. After, the service Frank moved to Pearl, Mississippi where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and then in 1970 he moved to Brandon, Mississippi. Frank moved to Wills Point, Texas in 1980. Frank had a special love for horses. He was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Sistrunk and a sister Eloise Cummins. Frank is survived by his daughter: Teresa Magee and her husband Mitchell of Brandon, Mississippi, sisters: Betty Slack of Brandon, Mississippi, Ancia Lowery of New Albany, Mississippi and Sheryl Peebles of Newton, Mississippi, grandson: Dustin Magee of Port Gibson, Mississippi and many other relatives and friends.
