Sallie Lorene McClung-York

Sallie Lorene McClung-York was born in Kaufman, Texas on June 14, 1923 to John Perry Cox and Eula Lee Mapp. Sallie passed away in Seagoville, Texas on January 31, 2012. Sallie was raised in Kaufman and then moved to Dallas after she married. She lived in the Dallas area the rest of her life. Sallie was a member of the Church of Christ. Her son Joe David McClung in 2007 and her husbands Lonie McClung in 1981 and Wendall York in 2001 preceded her in death. Sallie is survived by her sons: L. J. McClung of Dallas, Darrell McClung of Forney, Lyndon McClung of Ben Wheeler and Byron McClung of Forney, brother: Joe Cox of Kaufman, sister: Dorothy Pirtle of Terrell, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
