John Frank Stefka

John Frank Stefka was born in Belton, Texas on October 17, 1930 to John and Teresa Kovar Stefka. John passed away October 27, 2010 in Kemp, Texas. John was raised in Temple and later moved to Combine where he was a member of the Point View Baptist Church. John worked for Cook's Paint, Adam's Paint and Glidden's Paint and retired as a salesperson in 1992. John married Betty Yvonne Van Winkle on September 4, 1953 in Kaufman, Texas. His wife Betty preceded him in death on October 25, 2010 and a grandchild also preceded him in death. John is survived by his sons: Larry Stefka of Grand Prairie, John Stefka of Combine, James Stefka of Waco, Charles Stefka of Kemp and Nolan Stefka of Kaufman, sisters: Mary Slovak of Ennis, Pauline Barron of Ennis and Aline Stanke of Rosebud, thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
