Edward Pershing Smith

EDWARD PERSHING SMITH Edward Pershing Smith was born in Cottonwood, Texas on November 21, 1918 to William and Ella James Smith. Edward passed away at his home in Dallas on March 25, 2009. Edward was raised in the Cottonwood Community and then entered the U. S. Army Air Corp during World War II. After Edward served in the army he moved to Dallas where he worked for Dallas Power and Light for many years and later retired from the power company. Edward married Lillian Satterfield in June of 1946. He is survived by his wife: Lillian of Dallas, son: Doug Smith and his wife Gail of Dallas, daughter: Malethia Smith of Richardson, sister: Lula Smith of Sherman and many other relatives and friends.
