Thomas Jack Thorp

Thomas Jack Thorp was born in Brownwood, Texas on November 19, 1939 to Hubert and Juanita Boatman Thorp. Tommy passed away in a Mesquite hospital on November 29, 2009. Tommy was raised in San Angelo, Texas and later moved to Mesquite in 1970. He later moved to Gun Barrel and then to Kaufman in 2003. Tommy retired from the trucking business in 1996. He was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Gun Barrel. On February 9, 1970 Tommy married Dolores Ann Young in Shreveport, Louisiana. His parents and a grandchild Jeri Elaine preceded Tommy in death. He is survived by his wife: Dolores of Kaufman, son: Michael Shawn Thorp of Kaufman, daughters: Vicki McGuire of Kaufman, Felecia Warren of Kaufman and Tami Smith of Dallas, grandchildren: Nikki, Renee, Ashleigh, Lacey and Dylan, great-grandchildren: Gracie and Camren and many other relatives and friends.
