Maria Antonia Jacquez was born in Rosita, Mexico on June 13, 1936 to Tereso Casaerz and Clotilde Gonzalez. Maria passed away in an Arlington, Texas hospital on May 4, 2010. Maria was raised in Mexico and was a farm worker in south Texas. She moved to Kaufman in 1975 where she mainly was a rancher's housewife. Maria was a member of the Kaufman Church of Christ. She married Juan Jose Jacquez in Mexico on August 1, 1953. Her husband Juan preceded her in death on October 12, 1993. Maria is survived by her sons: John Jacquez and his wife Irma of Tyler and Jesse Jacquez and his wife Stephanie of Kaufman, daughters: Genoveva Pena and her husband Jesus of Fort Worth, Teresa Jacquez and her husband Rudy of Grand Prairie, Maria Ramirez and her husband Justo of Kaufman and Gloria Perkins and her husband Jeremy of Corsicana, brother: Tereso Casaerz of Eagle Pass, sister: Cecilia Guzman of San Antonio, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
