Betty Kay Brooks

Betty Kay Brooks was born in Odessa, Texas on September 9, 1938 to Frank and Irene Middaugh McConaghie. Betty passed away in Seven Points on December 12, 2010. Betty was raised in Tulsa where she attended school. She moved to Scurry in 1968 where she was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church. Betty worked as a bookkeeper for Houghton-Mifflen Company in Dallas. Betty is survived by her daughter: Bonnita Martinez of Kaufman, brother: Bob McConaghie of Owossa, Oklahoma, sisters: Treva Rhiel of Amarillo, Barbara Morrell of Woodville, Evelyn Frankum Stine of Kemp, grandchildren: Rodney Richman, Jason Ibendahl and Chris Martinez, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
