Consuelo Maria Cochran

Consuelo Maria Cochran was born in LaGruella, Texas on July 6, 1926 to Policarpio Cruz and Paula Sanchez. Consuelo passed away in Kaufman, Texas on September 5, 2010. Consuelo was raised in Rio Grand City and later moved to Kaufman County in the early 1950,s. She lived most of her life in Kaufman and worked as a cook for Scurry-Rosser Schools for several years before working for Leisure Lodge in Kaufman. Consuelo was a member of the Bernard's Catholic Church in Fairfield, Texas. Her husband Alejandro M. Fuentes preceded her in death in 1970. Consuelo is survived by her sons: Alex Fuentes of Sacramento, California, Frank Fuentes of Fairfield, Raymond Fuentes of Fairfield and Jimmy Fuentes of Terrell, brothers: Polo Cruz of Emory, Valentine Cruz of McAllen and Lorenzo Cruz of Kaufman, twin sister: Esperanza Solis of Rockwall, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
