IMOGENE LANIER Imogene Lanier was born in Seagoville, Texas on November 20, 1923 to George and Nellie Young Roberts. Imogene passed away at her home in Crandall, Texas on January 15, 2012. Imogene was raised in Combine and graduated from Seagoville High School. She lived most of her life in Seagoville. Imogene moved to Cedar Creek Lake in 1970 and the moved to Crandall in 1999. She worked for Certainteed Products in Dallas for thirty years and retired in 1988. Imogene was a member of the First Community Church of Crandall. Imogene married Howard D. Lanier in Dallas, Texas on July 3, 1942 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1999. Imogene is survived by her son: Ronald Lanier and his wife Janice of Crandall, daughter: Barbara Brown and her husband Bob of Mabank, grandchildren: Leigh Wood and her husband Brad and Lacey Lanier, great-grandchildren: Trevor Wood, Tessa Wood and Chase Wood, brother: George P. Roberts of Seagoville, sister: Magaral Mathis of Caldwell. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known to all her family and friends who loved her so much as Ninny. She was always there to comfort and care for everyone.
