Emma Christine Davidson

Emma Christine Davidson passed away in Georgetown, Texas on November 12, 2009. She was born in the Jiba Community on December 19, 1912 to William Thomas and Ruth Conner Tinsley. Emma was raised in the Jiba Community and lived most of her life in the Kaufman area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman. Emma married David Manning Davidson on December 9, 1934 in Durant, Oklahoma. Her husband David preceded her in death on April 20, 1985 and by her brothers Fred. Frank and Buddy Tinsley, sisters Sally Dorough, Tommie Miller, Jeffie Rutledge and Mary Kathryn Lewis. Emma is survived by her daughters: Joan Neely of Lago Vista, and Rhea Ann Sibley and her husband Lynn of Ennis, grandchildren: Jess Neely, Sean Neely, David Neely, Ky Sibley, Guy Sibley and Sam Sibley, nine grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
