Shelley Patricia Kirkwood

Shelley P. Kirkwood "Mother Hubbard" a loving wife, mother, sister and friend went to be with our Lord on November 9, 2009. She was born July 9, 1956 in Ann Arbor, MI to Art and Dolores Barth Winney. Shelley graduated from Huron High in 1974 and attended Michigan Tech. She moved to Texas in 1989 and worked for the U. S. Post Office in DeSoto. Shelley attended Point View Baptist Church in Combine and the First Baptist Church in Crandall. On July 24, 2004 Shelley married Royal Micheal Kirkwood in Ann Arbor, MI. Shelley was active in the Kaufman AA Group, an avid Crandall Pirates football fan, a Michigan Wolverine Fan and a Red Wings hockey fan. Shelley lived her life to the fullest and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jodi Jean and brother-in-law Keith Barnes, Shelley is survived by her husband: Royal of Crandall, sons: Kyle Wolverton of Michigan and Jason Eyestone of Denton, daughters: Kristine Ignacio and her husband Edward of Pennsylvania and Jenny Wolverton of Chicago, stepsons: Mike Kirkwood and his wife Miranda of Marshall and Odis Kirkwood and his wife Sandi of Washington, stepdaughter: Krista Kirkwood of Kaufman, sisters: Shannon Barnes of Crandall and Jennifer Burgess and husband Bryan of Frisco, sixteen grandchildren, aunt and uncle: Patricia and Richard Fischer, nephews: Brian Barnes and Matthew Burgess, dogs: Raider and Dixie Doodle with many other relatives and friends.
