Larry Lee Watkins

Larry Lee "Cowboy" Watkins was born in Heart, Arkansas on November 18, 1949 to Randel and Jean McBride Watkins. Larry passed away in a Mesquite hospital on June 15, 2011. Larry was raised in Fresno, California and moved to Texas in 1980. When he moved to Texas he trained and raised horses. Larry moved to Kaufman in 1985 where he was a member of the Cowboy Church. On April 12, 1980 Larry married June Carol Quanz in Sacramento, California. Larry is survived by his wife: June of Kaufman, son: Robert Earl Watkins-Shier of Scurry, daughter: Jackie Watkins of Corpus Christi, grandchildren: Emily Hooks, Gavin McCann, Tristan Shier, Katie Shier and Joshua Hand, brother: Randel Watkins of Missouri, sisters: Carol Kauffman of Fresno, California and Marsha Fisher of Hanford, California and many other relatives and friends.
