Harvey Hampton Patton

Harvey Hampton Patton Sr. was born in Cotton County, Oklahoma on January 2, 1924 to Rodney and Ruth Walters Patton. Harvey passed away in Keller, Texas on November 3, 2011. Harvey was raised in the Warsaw Community and later moved to Dallas in 1946. He moved to Garland in 1952 then to Fort Worth in 1961. Harvey later moved to Cedar Creek Lake where he owned and operated the Seven Points Grocery for ten years. After, retiring from the grocery business Harvey moved back to Fort Worth. He was a member of the Methodist Church. On October 19, 1944 Harvey married Reba Jack Rushing in Forney, Texas. Harvey is survived by his wife: Reba of Keller, Texas, sons: Harvey Hampton Patton Jr. of Whitney, Texas and Don Wayne Patton of Keller, daughter: Ruth Ann Ogle of Keller, grandchildren: Aaron Wayne Patton, Dana Weaver and Bradley Ogle, great-grandchildren: Ashlynn Patton and Morgan Weaver and many other relatives and friends.
