Nancy Wauneta Garner

Wauneta Garner was born in Newkirk, Oklahoma on October 22, 1924 to William Walker and Florence Gladys Charles. Wauneta passed away in Kaufman, Texas on May 22, 2010. She was raised in Oklahoma and later moved to Kaufman. Wauneta retired from Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative in Kaufman after many years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman and was the churches' pianist for forty-one years. On July 14, 1945 Wauneta married Talbot Garner in Yukon, Oklahoma. Talbot preceded her in death on June 13, 2005. Wauneta is survived by her niece: Patricia Pollard of Farmersville, nephew: William John Williams of Fayetteville, Arkansas, cousin: Karen Walker Dupree of Mystic, Connecticut, brother-in-laws: Kenneth Garner of Paris and Jerry Garner of Lindale and many other relatives and friends.
