Dennis Wayne Hughey

Dennis Wayne Hughey was born in Fisher County, Texas on February 4, 1938 to Benford and Norma Berryhill Hughey. Dennis passed away in Marksville, Louisiana on September 1, 2009. Dennis was raised in Atoy, Texas and attended Rusk schools. He moved to Granbury and worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth. Dennis later moved to Dallas and worked for Continental Baking Company. He moved to Mesquite where he lived for twenty years before moving to Kaufman in 1995. When Dennis retired he became a farmer raising and bailey hay. On November 1, 1958 Dennis married Dorothy Ann Lusk in Nacogdoches, Texas. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy of Kaufman, son: Walter Hughey and his wife Ginger of Kaufman, daughter: Marcella Blunt and her husband Tommy of Mesquite, brothers: Homer "Peck" Rogers of Rusk and William "Buddy" Cox of Mesquite, grandchildren: Shane Brockway, Danielle Hughey, Leslie Brockway and Austin Blunt, great-grandchildren: Dayton Brockway, Bryce Nichols, and Mariah Brockway and many other relatives and friends.
