Bobby Dee Walker was born December 7, 1925 in Kaufman, Texas to Prince and Rosa Oxford Walker. Bobby passed away in Kaufman on April 23, 2011. Bobby was raised in Kaufman and later joined the U. S. Navy and served in World War II. After, the service Bobby worked for Ford Motor Company in Dallas for seventeen years and then opened his own business Walker Men's and Boy's Wear in Kaufman. Later Bobby was a Sears Catalog Merchant in Kaufman. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, American Legion and the VFW. Bobby was past president of the Cedar Creek Country Club, past member of the Kaufman Lions Club and the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce. Bobby also was the founder of the 3W Cattle Company with his sons. Bobby married Grace Elizabeth Tarpley in Dallas on May 4, 1956. He was preceded in death by his wife on December 23, 2001, a son Bobby Keith Walker in 1957 brothers, Prince "Pap" Walker, James "Tammy" Walker and Robbie "Curly" Walker. Bobby is survived by his sons: Bobby Walker Jr. and his wife Patsy of Kaufman and Glenn Walker and his wife Diann of Kaufman, grandchildren: Melissa Ann Vaughan, Jennifer Dee Henricks, Stacy Lee Walker, Brett Walker and Chad Walker, great-grandchildren: Caitlyn Vaughan and Brock Henricks, sister: Betty Ruth Elzner of Kaufman, sister-in-law: Dorothy Walker of Kaufman, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
