Hazel Lee Williams

Hazel Lee Williams was born in Rice, Texas on August 16, 1926 to Charlie and Grace Payne Medlin. Hazel passed away at her home in Cottonwood on October 10, 2009. She was raised in Pleasant Grove and worked for the telephone company for a short time. Hazel moved to Cottonwood in 1978 where she lived the rest of her life. On August 11, 1950 Hazel married E. J. Williams in Dallas, Texas. Her daughter Diana Cobb preceded Hazel in death on March 19, 1990. Hazel is survived by her husband Eldridge J. Williams of Cottonwood, daughter: Donna Nezat and her husband Harold of Duncanville, grandchildren: William Mann, B. J. Cobb, Danea Bowman and Elizabeth Moore, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
