Sarah Lucille Lott

Sarah Lucille "Mama Lucy" Lott was born in Woodville, Oklahoma on December 2, 1927 to Jody and Myrtle Williams Scott. Sarah Lucille passed away at a Kaufman, Texas hospital on September 29, 2009. She was raised in Wylie, Texas and then moved to Dallas. On October 11, 1946 Lucille married Thomas Floyd Lott in Dallas. They bought a farm in Kaufman and later moved to Kaufman in 1952. In 1959 Lucille and her husband bought Lott's Cleaners in Kaufman and later retired in 1980. Lucille was a member of the local 42 Domino Club and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman. Her husband Thomas preceded Sarah Lucille in death on March 30, 1992 and by a son David Lott and a son-in-law J. M. Catlin. Sarah Lucille is survived by her sons: Tom W. Lott and his wife Vickie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Steve Lott and his wife Elizabeth of Amarillo, daughter: Carol Catlin of Kaufman, brother: Dan Orville Scott of Denton, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
