Juanita Irene McMahan

Juanita Irene McMahan was born in Union, Missouri on December 13, 1934 to Homer Henry French and Florence Elizabeth Reed. Juanita passed away in a Kaufman hospital on June 15, 2010. Juanita was raised in Union, Missouri and later moved to California when she was eighteen. She moved Dallas in 1958 after she married Larry Wayne McMahan on January 1, 1958 in Las Vega, Nevada. Juanita worked for Cabells Dairy in Dallas for ten years and later moved to Scurry in 1999 when she retired. Juanita was a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Scurry. Her husband Larry McMahan preceded her in death on May 20, 2009. Juanita is survived by her son: Steve Wayne McMahan of Scurry, daughters: Vickie Swinford and her husband Derril of Forney, Rhonda Corder and her husband Steve of Scurry and Paula Dunn and her husband Richard of Kemp, brothers: Norman French of Rockdale and Kenneth French of Hamilton, sister: LaVerna McKay of Union, Missouri, seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
