Eldridge J. Williams

Eldridge J. Williams was born in Howland, Texas on September 3, 1928 to Ambers and Mamie Chapman Williams. E. J. passed away in Duncanville, Texas on January 4, 2010. He was raised in the Greenville, Texas area before joining the U. S. Air Force in 1946 and then reenlisting in the U. S. Army in 1950. After the service E. J. lived in Dallas and later moved to the Cottonwood community in 1978. He was a member of the Lakeview Assembly of God Church in Seven Points, Texas. E. J. married Hazel Lee Medlin in Dallas on August 11, 1950. E. J. was preceded in death by his wife Hazel on October 10, 2009 and a daughter Diana Cobb on March 19, 1990. E. J. is survived by his daughter: Donna Nezat and her husband Harold of Duncanville, grandchildren: William Mann, B.J. Cobb, Danea Bowman and Elizabeth Moore, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
