Violet Estelle Wilson

VIOLET ESTELLE WILSON Violet Estelle Wilson was born in Canton, Texas on October 20, 1922 to Coley Ballard and Maggie May Hamblen. Violet passed away in Kaufman, Texas on December 6, 2010. Violet was raised in Kaufman County where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Kaufman High School and worked for Gulf State Telephone Company for fifteen years. Violet was a member of the Wilson Chapel Methodist Church. On June 19, 1943 Violet married Loyd Waldon Wilson in Rockwall. Loyd preceded Violet in death on November 30, 2003; a son Wayne Wilson also preceded her in death. Violet is survived by her son: Bryan Wilson and his wife Holly of Elkhart, daughter: Wanda Estes and her husband Larry of Kemp, brothers: Odis Ballard of Kaufman and Eugene Ballard of Mesquite, sister: Dorothy Wimpee of Sachse, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.
