Larry Joseph Davis

Larry Joseph Davis was born in Boonville, Missouri on January 26, 1940 to Wayne Sinclair Davis and Ruth Pauline Stone. Larry passed away at his home in Crandall, Texas on October 2, 2010. Larry was raised in Missouri and West Texas. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later moved to Crandall in 1990 where he was the Chief of Police from 1991 till 2004. Larry was involved in the rodeo circuit for many years as a roper and heeler. Larry was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Crandall. He was preceded in death by a son Mark Davis in 1991. Larry is survived by his wife: Peggy of Crandall, daughter: Matraca Ray Davis of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, brother: Mark Davis and his wife Nancy of Missouri and many other relatives and friends.
