Walter Bishop Johnson

Walter Bishop Johnson was born in Kaufman, Texas on March 8, 1916 to Thomas Johnson and Minnie Viola Sullivan. Walter passed away in Kaufman on September 3, 2010. Walter was raised in the Post Oak Bend Community and graduated from North Texas Agriculture College in Arlington. He later moved to Dallas in 1948 and worked for LTV in Grand Prairie for over forty years. He moved to Kaufman in 2002. Walter was a member of the White Rock Church of Christ in Dallas. On November 10, 1948 Walter married Mary Rose Gardner in Terrell. His brother and his wife Mary Rose preceded Walter in death on December 6, 2009. Walter is survived by his son: Byron Johnson and his wife Cheryl of Post Oak Bend, daughter: Carolyn Fultz of Mesquite, grandchildren: Sara Clark, Jamie Stephen, Jonathan Fultz and Will Johnson and many other relatives and friends.
