Annie Jenell McKinney

Annie Jenell McKinney, 85, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2025, with her husband and children by her side. Jenell was born on September 19, 1939, to Clyde and Grace Cooper in Warsaw, TX. She grew up around Kaufman and graduated from Kaufman High School in 1958. On July 25, 1958, she married John McKinney, and they have been together for a loving 66 years. Jenell and John raised 2 children, LouAnn and Wade. She spent a lot of time cooking, either for her family, friends or church gatherings; often for serving families during dinners for funerals. Jenell was very sociable and enjoyed conversations with her friends over the phone and in person. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her parents, Clyde and Grace, and siblings: George Cooper, Rebecca Estes, Patti Godwin and Donald Cooper preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are husband John, children: LouAnn Hainline and husband Mike and Wade McKinney and wife Gina; grandchildren: Sara McLaughlin and husband Matt, Kathryn McKinney, Three Helzer and husband Landon and Luke Hainline; great grandchildren: Carter McLaughlin, Claire McLaughlin, Tucker McLaughlin and Hallie Helzer; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
