Barbara Lou Baty

Barbara Lou Baty, 78, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2023, in Fort Worth, TX.  Barbara was born on July 15, 1945, to Chester and Alta Mae Wooldridge in Waco, TX.  She grew up in Hubbard but spent most of her early life in West Texas.  Barbara married Paul Baty on April 11, 1982, and they moved out to Ola around 1997.  She worked as a nurse of 20 years in Mexia, Terrell and Denton State Schools and enjoyed caring for and teaching the mentally disabled children in those schools.  Her most precious job was raising and loving her family.  Barbara loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.  She was a devoted and faithful Christian, who loved reading the bible and was a licensed minister.  Barbara attended the Ola Assembly of God Church.  She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister.  Her parents, husband Paul and siblings: Billy Wayne Wooldridge, Wanda Sue Floyd and James Chester Wooldridge preceded her in death.  Those left to cherish her memory are children: Jimmy Paul Woolridge and wife Gayle, Jerry Berdett Buck and wife Brenda, Jeffery Eugene Buck and wife Jami, Julian Steven Roane and wife Lynn, Joshua Paul Baty and wife Tanika and Christopher Shawn Baty; grandchildren: Jimmy, Andrew, Tracy, Daniel, Matthew, Terah, Heaven Lee, Jeff, Jerry, Camden, Keilee, Mary, Shaun, Vincent, Danielle, Johnny, Jenifer, Shannon, Erica and Tessa; great grandchildren: Kaleb, Zachary, Ryan, McKayla, Rylee, Landen, Ayla, Amelia, Austin, Adelle, Aria, Atlas, Maddoxx, Addalyn, Jayden, Devin, Brandon, Kaylee, Robert, Jonathan, Skylar, Bryleigh, Jase, Harper, Donavan, Jordan, Kendall, Josiah, Délia, Imani, Amarir, Wrenly, and Juniper Jade; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
