Bobby Gene McCraw, age 57, passed away at his residence on December 31, 2022.
Bobby was born on October 15, 1965, in Phenix City, Alabama, to the late John Aubrey McCraw and Betty Jean Easterwood. He worked for many years in the transportation industry. Bobby was the general manager for North Texas for TD Logistix in Kaufman, Texas. Bobby was the owner of CB Logistics and CB Farm and Ranch. He worked as a freight broker, truck driver, a “repo man, and worked as a policeman in Yale, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge and was also a member of Texas Junior Livestock Association (TJLA).
He had many accomplishments which he achieved in his lifetime. His most cherished achievements were winning the 2017 Grand Champion at the Houston Livestock Show showing his Aberdeen Angus cattle and being baptized at JSM in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was most proud of beating stage IV cancer in 2019.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are daughters, Tiffany of Oklahoma, Candace of Kaufman Texas, Mindy of Oklahoma, Jessica of California, and Haley of Missouri; and his sons, Evan of Oklahoma, and Cody of Arizona; his mother, Betty Jean; five grandchildren, Roper Brown of Oklahoma, Gabriel McCraw of Oklahoma, and Emma, Alexandrea, and Natalie Robinson of Oklahoma; his brothers Tony of Forney, Texas, Milas McCraw of Arizona and Rocky McCraw of Wisconsin. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also remain.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Aubrey McCraw.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel. You are cordially invited to gather with the family and share your memories of Bobby.
