Bonifacio Rivera

Bonifacio Rivera, 77, of Kaufman, TX passed away on May 7, 2022, at home.  Bonifacio was born on May 14, 1944, to Cleofas and Matiana Rivera in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  He immigrated to the United States in 1975 for a better future for him and his family. He lived in many states before settling in Kaufman in 1995.  Bonifacio married Maria Ines Rivera on December 19, 1976 and spent a loving 47 years together.

After retirement, he enjoyed taking care of his cattle.  Bonifacio’s precious time was spent enjoying his grandkids company and playing with his dogs.  He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.  His parents and siblings: Telesforo Rivera, Juan Rivera, Benita Rivera, Benito Rivera and Melquiades Rivera preceded him in death.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria, children: Antonio Rivera and wife Lourdes, Paula Rivera and husband Roberto, Nicky Rivera and wife Teresa, Nina Rivera and husband Martin and Cleofas Rivera and wife Brenda; grandchildren: Rebecca Martinez, Jair Rivera, Christian Rivera, Evelyn Martinez, Edward Rivera, Edwin Rivera, Andrew Martinez, Agustine Gutiérrez, Bianet Gutiérrez, Chris Rivera, Uriel Rivera, Alexa Rivera, Kevin Rivera, Nathan Rivera and Emma Rivera; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
