Bonnie Jean Ross

Bonnie Jean Ross, 83, of Scurry, TX went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2021 at home, while surrounded by her loved ones. Bonnie was born on September 23, 1937 to Jim Caffee and Willie Marie Pope in Paris, TX. Bonnie lived in the Dallas area for many years before moving to Scurry for the last 40 plus years. She was married to Jerry Ross for 28 years before he passed away. Bonnie spent time watching soap operas like "Young and the Restless" and "Bold and the Beautiful" during the day and Old Westerns in the evening. She enjoyed shopping; going to garage sales and flea markets to get what she wanted. Bonnie was a tough lady who lived with daily pain and it sometimes made her a little stubborn. She lived her life her way or no way. Bonnie was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. Bonnie was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Her husband, parents and sister Velma Brown preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are children: Sherry Allen, Angie Tijerina and husband Ness and Ricky Allen; sister Wanda Williams and husband Gail; grandchildren: Lezlie, Tosha and husband Jimmy, LaDonia and husband Jerrod, Bruce, Bobby and wife Samantha, Cassi and husband James, Ashley and husband Joaquin and Trisha and husband Derek; great grandchildren: Jacob, Bradyn, Kason, Jordon, Blake, Harley, Jimmy, Charlie, Kagan, Stormi, Caden, Daylen, Brody, Katie, Tyler, Kelsei, Kayleigh, Rylee, Cade and Brent; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
