Bonnita Kay Martinez

Bonnita Kay Martinez, peacefully passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 61. She was born on November 18, 1961, in Odessa, Texas to parents Gordon and Betty Kay (McConaghie) Brooks. Bonnita was beloved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

In her early years, Bonnita entered matrimony with Dennis Ibendhal and together they shared beautiful memories and one child, Jason Ibendhal. Later in life, Bonnita found love again with Pedro C. Martinez and together they had two children Rodney and Chirstopher. Their union was a testament to the enduring power of love and companionship.

She is preceded in death by her loving mother Betty Kay Brooks, Dennis Ibendhal, Pedro Martinez and grandparents Frank and Irene McConaghie.

Bonnita is survived by her three children: Jason Ibendhal and wife Brandie of Oklahoma, Rodney Richman and wife Lexie of Scurry, Texas and Christopher Martinez of California; seven grandchildren, Cassie Ibendhal, Joe Ibendhal, Twila Ibendhal, Brayden Ibendhal, Aidan Richman, Addison Richman, and Evellet Martinez. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart.
